Nah most states favor good ol' meth last I checked.

Looks like needles are more of a yankee thing.

Does Baltimore really have more of an injectable drug problem than the West coast cities? I kind of doubt it.

This is a question easily answered by a quick search. Baltimore has far and away the highest rate of death due to opioid use among areas with greater than 500k people at 190 per 100k. Then Shelby County TN (Memphis) at 103, Multnomah County OR (Portland) at 94.

So Baltimore is more than twice the rate of any comparably sized West coast population center.

Well then.  Jesus Baltimore.

I expect this includes prescription/oral opiates?  But still even if that's higher as a percentage in Baltimore, they're way higher overall.  Thanks for doing the quick search that I should have.  West coast seems feels like the epicentre being there, but I guess not.

I was at a ravens game and two dudes were nodded off in the middle of the game, didn’t react when the whole stadium was cheering for a touchdown.

But they could still afford to get into a Raven's game?  That, I have never seen on the west coast.
