I don’t believe people call Whitetip sharks by the term “white”, that’s a Great White. And the dorsal fin doesn’t seem to be round enough to be a Whitetip, looks closer to something like a Tiger shark.

Weirdly unsettling music, but okay :)

To me the really interesting thing about salps is that they are chordates, just like humans. This means they are close relatives to vertebrates in the grand scheme of things. They actually have a notochord, the thing that in you and me and birds and salamanders becomes a backbone.
