Comparing stories centered around certain cultures to 'lol Ariel is black now" ain't it. People aren't exactly going around calling Moana or Encanto woke.
But they are at completely original characters in The Acolyte. A race swap may be unnecessary, but it's a genuine dead giveaway if a person is exceptionally annoyed by it.
