Fallout off USB?

When I was in hs people would have these USB sticks with a runnable version of halo on them. Recently was given a work tablet, and am given a ton of free time. Can I do something similar with fallout? I can't install anything on the computer

Doesn't matter how or where you install it. When you copy it somewhere else it still works. Goes for lots of games, especially older and non steam versions

I actually used to do exactly that when I worked a night desk job where nothing ever happened. I believe I was using a GoG version of the game and installed it to the flash drive. It might have been the old CDs, though. I can't remember. But, I did it and it ran fine.

Bet. Seems like that's the way to go and luckily I have the GOG version

What do you mean by GoG version?

Good Old Games www.gog.com

Their games are DRM-free so it makes it easier to install to whatever.

Any version works like that as long as you have relative paths in the fallout2.cfg file.
