Question about filming the episode Chuck vs The Other Guy [S3 SPOILERS]

I am guessing the whole show was filmed on in LA on sets but I was curious if maybe the scene where Shaw takes Sarah to the cafe and eventually goes over the bridge was show on location somewhere.

Anyone know?

The cafe scene is on the Warner Brothers lot. I'm in process of identifying as many filming sites as possible. If you go to our new website, welovechuck.tv you can find what we've done. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and, I am somewhat familiar where the filming sites are. I have pictures of many of them, including the WB lot.

As someone mentioned, the Germany scene in the finale was filmed at Universal Studios. The show sets (The Buymore, Weinerlicious, apartment, and Orange Orange were on Stage 10, 17 and possibly 4 at WB.

Also, Emma's house from Baby was on the Warner Ranch lot. It was all torn down earlier this year along with the Bewitched, Partridge Family and Young Sheldon houses among many other iconic sets.

If you watch Chuck vs. The Baby, you will see the same bridge in the background. The Berlin scene in the finale was shot on a Universal Backlot. It was said on season 5 Blu-Ray that each studio has generic backlots they use for filming and studios will share the use of the backlots.

The bridge is supposed to be the Pont de l'Archevêché in Paris, judging by the one shot where you can see the apse of Notre Dame.

Notre Dame was almost certainly added with CGI. I don’t know of a stone bridge in Los Angeles or on any backlot that looks like the one in the show. Maybe they built a mock up of the top part of the bridge, and combined with CGI and stock footage, made it look like Paris.

I am sure the bridge is Pont Marie over the Seine in Paris. I researched the detail of that bridge scene before my vacation to Paris. Lol. It’s in my Checklist to go see that bridge in person. Although the bridge seems real, Nortre Dame is not that close at the back in reality. They zoomed it up!

It must be somewhere. They were not in Paris, that's for sure... CGI is a miracle sometimes, but there must be a physical space that resembles that bridge. I'll find it and I also know who to ask.

Considering the number of backlots that are no more, I wonder if the location where it was shot is still available.

Well, if it was on the Ranch, which I doubt, it's gone now. I know who to ask about Universal. Since they mostly shot at Warners, I'm pretty sure it's not there.

The low angle view where you can see notre dame means it cannot be the Pont Marie. But by all means go and look, because it will put you very close to Berthillon, which is the best ice cream in the world!
