I wouldn’t let her. She’s feed well enough that she doesn’t strike at random small things.

But I’m not letting her get to a pet rat. I’ve wanted one forever

I used to keep rats and my largest was Gus who was 18 inches nose to tip of tail and almost 1kg. He wasn't fat, just a unit.

We have a bunch of big rats sometimes mistaken to be a cat. Unfortunately, those are not pets but pest 😭
