OH MY GOD. Episode Discussion

i just finished episode 2 of season 4, and i am absolutely speechless. i would have never expected that to happen. after june poisons the people at the party (or whatever it was), i was thinking like maybe stuff was going to start looking good and maybe get slightly easier for the handmaids and esther. NOPE. BIG NOPE. i’m still interested to see where the other handmaids are, along with esther herself, although i do have a weird feeling about her.

All of the twists really make the series exciting without implausibly rendering the story as too complicated

I love the cinematography, lighting, and music at the end scene of 4x2. It's such an amazing scene.

June reaching for the gun to basically go out with a bang, but then she sees it's Nick and he whispers to her that he's trying to keep her alive, which June knows is true, so she surrenders.

When they stare at each other, you can see how hard it is for both of them that Gilead finally found her. If Nick wasn't there and some other commander got to her first, she would've picked up the gun and most likely would've been shot on site.

If it wasn't for that damn child rapist Gaurdian June had Esther kill, she may have gotten away with it all, but once a man goes missing, it's only a matter of time before they connected the dots and were found out.

You're in for a hell of a ride with 4x3. It's a heartbreaking but amazing episode. It's one of my favorites.
