Came in here expecting the same old. This is a LOT more involved than the other attempts I've seen.

Anyone know how this compares to prior attempts in terms of distance covered, and how much running distance they actually saved with the parkour route?

None, because it is not one shot. It is edited with cuts during quick movements. Storror have done quite a few videos like this

They didn't beat anything. It is literally several clips that are edited together made to look like it is done for real. Look at the STORROR youtube channel, their most viewed videos are all edits made to look like one long continous shot, this one stands out because it is least obvious that it is not actually done for real.

In theory the route is correct though and they travel the full distance. The underground averages a stop every two minutes or so. So whilst this may be edited for better shots I think it’s probably proof it’s possible if you don’t care about the camera work

This is old, and they all feel super ashamed about this video, which ended up being one of their most famous videos.

Their other videos are nothing like this, except a few of the very old ones. They're legit.

I mean yeah, they're legit at parkour and their edited parkour videos are really cool, the other ones being "compilations" in a more obvious way. This one sticks out a bit since it's edited so subtly and made to look like they really parkour-raced the train that it's very easy to miss that it's not done for real

This video is cut and edited. It's still cool, and the parkour crew Storror are badass and have like 8m subs.

But ya not real there's a cut just before he jumps down next to the pillar at the end.

Some do actually believe that they beat the metro? This is fake AF. Seen some guy that barely beat the tram and he was running way faster and with no obstacols on the way.

Tried this in my city once. Out of breath got into a train feeling glad that I made it. That fuckin train turned out to be 2nd after the original one which I left 💀.
