Original Mark can do same slashing head off trick. This isn't a sign of supremacy.

Don't forget he's holding back most times.

Even if he did , he'd just say " i...i thought you were stronger"

Like, Season 1 Mark could do this

Mark the moment he got his powers was capable of this.

The kid yeeted a garbage bag from somewhere in the U.S. over the Atlantic Ocean onto England.

I think mark under different management would be stronger than he is. That mark probably had Nolan. Maybe even got his powers early, meaning +1 on experience.

Are we sure he can do that yet? We haven't seen any viltrumite aside from Omni-Man do it, who is implied to be the strongest viltrumite we've seen in combat so far. Even when Lucan took Allen's arm it was more like he crushed through it rather than a clean slice.

It's possible that this iteration of Mark is near Omni-Man level

Brother, those are normal ass people.

Pretty much every character with significant super strentgh could do it. Immortal, Bulletproof, monster girl etc.

It was kind of impressive when Nolan did it to Immortal tho

Allan is a LOT stronger than a human.

Isn't he like the de facto fighter for his faction to be able to fight Viltrumites?

Been a while since I read.

Genetically engineered and trained from birth for the job, and the project's only success. S2E3 covers it too.

Nice, sorry I haven't been back to the show since Amazon made ads lol

It's a great episode if you really like (or dislike?) Allen.

I like him.

Just waiting to have more to see, before I paid more for the ad-free.

Understandable.

In S1E2 Mark almost does the Omni-chop to the lead flaxan but then realizes Eve is suffocating and helps her instead. And when he knocks out Nightwing (forgot the episode) he uses a chopping motion, and he looks at his hand weird right after. My guess is part of the reason Viltrumites can hit so hard and take such hard hits has to do with the way the fly, they can push off literally anything. Nolan figured out how to do that with his chop and behead superhumans or slice open Viltrumites.

His hand “cuts” like that because it’s an, in comparison, unbreakable edged object(hand) making a slicing motion at something WAY less tough than he is, and even then it’s more likely he’s cleaning smacking their heads off and away. Think of it like how a knife is way better at cutting than a spoon but you can still use the edge of a spoon to slice into Jell-O with ease. Omni-Man just is far less merciful than Mark, so main timeline Mark never even tries this.

Strongest individual Viltrumite we've seen in the show so far. Individually, Lucan, Fidor, and Thula, would not have been have to defeat him. Only reason he was taken out was from a sneak attack after he thought the fight was over.

I don't believe we can consider that "clapped."
They sent 3 after him for a reason.
