Anyone else annoyed they changed this? COMIC SPOILERS

Post image

Amazon primes doesn’t allow screenshots so I’ll just use this basic pic, but is anyone else annoyed Rae survived? Because if she survives, that means everyone survived the battle. Let at least 1 death from that fight be permanent.

Unfortunately they made her death scene meaningless

I literally lost sleep over that scene and experienced personal growth over coming to terms that this show is too gross for me and SHE DIDNT DIE???? I don’t know if I’m relieved or confused

You just proved that what the other guy said about her “death” being meaningless is false. You yourself said the scene caused you to undergo personal growth. Pretty meaningful scene if you ask me. (Congrats on becoming a better person btw)

That is just my opinion, I hate whenever they bring characters back in movies or tv shows

You are ignoring the meaning of their returns and revivals. There are meaningless deaths / revivals. This one already impacted audiences and l the characters in the story.

The lady in Jurassic World who is picked up by a pterosaur only to be eaten by a plesiosaur or whatever was a pretty meaningless death.

They were both thrilling deaths, but Rae's was infinitely more emotional than that. And so was her revivals/fakeout.

Also, she could still die in a hospital bed. Which would be more realistic and in tune with this show – shit does not always work out. Even if it does, it almost never does as you planned.

It still had meaning to Rex, I'm sure we'll see more character development from him where he learns that he needs to be better to stop stuff like that from happening again. And it's not like Rae is walking and talking, we don't know for sure in what condition she'll recover and I wouldn't be surprised if she retires afterwards or has PTSD.

It wasn't a death scene considering she didn't die

No they didn't. Rex will be affected. Mark and the others will too. We can see they already are.

Even if she goes straight back to being mostly a side character, this has to have woken up both Mark and Rex to the reality of the job they are facing.
