Not going to say anything about Levy, but a lot of the storylines are way too long to be concluded in a single season anyway.

Yeah, we just got a continuation of a plot from season 1 with the Sequids. And there is still more. Plus a bunch of other dangling plot threads from S1 they haven't touched.

No its not. Then you would just be complaining about there isnt being a main villain this season. The point of them introducing him early is that you should be wondering where is Angstrom, why didn't he return yet? Thats something Invincible often do with a lot of its characters and storylines. And thats exactly whats happening.

And why is it bad writing exactly? Because the story is structured in a way that you are not used to from other superhero media? Is it a must for every superhero tv season to have an overarching forefront villain that shows up every one or two episodes? No. They can do it however they want as long as the character fullfills his role in the season. In Angstrom's case it's enough to allocate two episodes to tell his story, and it's important for story reasons to have some space between his two main appearences. The pacing of Angstrom storyline makes total sense, if you know how it goes.

I mean, shows like Invincible that has too many parallel ongoing storylines usually has bad pacing, because they try to juggle too much and eventually fail. Invincible though can do it successfully. Instead you want them to sacrifice some of these storylines in order to waste more time on a character that doesn't ask for more screentime. Idk, kinda feels like you are criticizing the show for not being lamer lol.

I think one of the best parts of Invincible is the structure. You get these longer formed story arcs and it allows for more story and build up.

Some people seem to need storylines spoonfed to them with clearcut beginnings, middles, and endings, clear antagonists and protagonists. God forbid you build up something across seasons in a TV show adapting a comic with 144 issues.
