i know some people are calling it a cop out but honestly im happy she made it out. she barely got any characterization before this, maybe they'll do something interesting with her now

Also, this show kills people all the time. It's dumb to call it a cop out. If the show was afraid of killing people, maybe. But, it clearly isn't.

Who has died on the show outside of the guardians in the first episode? I don’t think they’ve killed a single named character.

Did you miss this episode’s funeral?

The “cop out” complaint is literally non existent in a show like this lol. That’s like saying The Boys doesn’t kill people

"this show kills people all the time"💀

Honestly I think if they didn't make it seem like she died prior people wouldn't mind. But I guess they didn't want two cliffhangers in one.

I'm sure they have plans with her character though, would like to learn more about her background.

Tbh, im kinda mixed on her living, because the stakes and also the implications made it sound fatal, but I hope they give her more characterization and maybe explain how she survived

I saw the spoiler for the last episode ahead of time, "someone should contact that one guy", and figured that she got horribly disfigured. I'm not disappointed she survived but would have liked her to look horrific for the rest of the show between biting and stomach acid.

I'm no scientist, but I THINK smaller creatures use less oxygen? Perhaps she shrank down, climbed back up, and grew big to break out.

I never understand that take. They could have just… not “killed” her at all if they wanted to. Obviously the near death will serve a core role in her character development going forward, and knowing this show it’s going to be great.

Here's to hoping they keep her new accent.
