A couple of things to comment:

 1) The Lizard League battle is perfect, as messed up as I remembered. It's a shame it ended before the second-most badass moment Rex has in the entire story.

 2) I love the small foreshadowing of Robot going rogue with that bit of him wanting to use a projection to regulate Monster Girl's powers and she didn't like it. Their relationship is what sets his path to villainy and the seeds are already planted.

3) Am I only the one worried that this whole Mark and Amber subplot is going nowhere? We all know that their relationship is on borrowed time (Mark and Eve are endgame) but I fear that the eventual resolution is going to be obvious and a bit underwhelming: they are going to break up because Mark doesn't have time for her. I think I know what's going on regarding her whole deal, but I hope it has a good punch line. They have a little adventure with Eve before Angstrom shows up, so maybe they can pull a rabbit out of the hat once again.

 4) I really like Donald's subplot. Him being a cyborg is just revealed to us in the comics. It's cool they are expanding on that.

At least they did a good job of kind of showing why being in a relationship with Mark would suck for a non-superhero.

Her grandfather died and up until that point in her young life that was probably one of the most monumental feelings of loss. Mark wasn't there. He couldn't be and his whole ordeal on Thraxa kind of takes precedent because it has consequences for many more people including Amber. It points out that for Amber kind of takes a back seat to Mark in the relationship and that is not either of their faults. Amber has to bottle stuff up and be supportive as a matter of fact. Most young people can't and don't want to do that.

At least it's giving Amber mature motivations and actual logical reasoning for maybe not wanting to be with Mark in that way despite loving him. Same with Mark. He can't focus on his relationship unless his partner is going out with him when he works.

Also your partner can just go missing out of the blue for months or even years and it is unknown whether he is dead or not. Debbie mentioned that a couple of times too.

Im actually worried how the hell they are going to do the break up in the show because unlike comics amber this amber is super understanding and knows the crazy shit shes getting into. So it would seem weird for them to just break up like they did in the comics.
