Holy fuck Rae's death was WAY more brutal than the comics like shit

I think most character deaths we’ve have seen so far have been more brutal than in the comic books and while I do feel some of it is just for shock value (DupliKate’s death was just fucked up) I think they worked Shrinking Rae’s death really well, as a comicbook reader they got me guessing what was going to happen when she started to grow, I really thought she was going to make it!

Then he crushes her inside of him… Holy fuck that was nuts.

I fully expected them to trade kills there. Him tanking Rae growing to full size in his neck/chest was crazy

Yeah, it was fucking insane that he not only survived but was up and fighting Rex in about half a minute.

The man fucking flexes doing it. The muscle control was insane.

Since they are all reptile/snake themed, that’s exactly what I pictured when he did it: A snake crushing its food inside of it. Fr it was probably my fav death on the show so far.

If memory serves, in the comics he just got chomped and chewed to death and was in no position to fight back from the inside at all, right?

I don't even remember chewing. I think my guy just got swallowed and that was curtains. They didn't even mention it again lol.

You’re right. What’s funny, when I read the comics I actually expected Rae to expand, but just gets crushed. The show did a great job of switching it up.

Way better. Both those deaths gave me a feeling of "really?" In the comics but seemed both earned and totally unambiguous in the show

Why "earned" and "unambiguous"?
