The Korean wedding ducks DISCUSSION

In case you didnt know, the little ducks debbie rearranges in her home are these.

The wedding ducks should be kept somewhere in the couple’s home,, facing beak to beak. Usually, a duck with 빨간 색 (red color) represents a bride and 파란 색 (blue color) represents a groom. My favorite part of this tradition is that the position of ducks signifies the couple’s relationship. When ducks are facing beak to beak, this signifies that a couple is having a 화목한 관계(harmonious relationship), on the other hand, when ducks are faced away from each other, this means a couple is having an 말다툼 (tiff).

Hey that's as close as we have got to a canon confirmation that Debbie and therefore Mark are of Korean heritage.

I noticed in S1 that one of the house's wall decorations had Korean writing on it.

Mark outright states that he's Korean-American in the Atom Eve game, which is canon-ish.

I think there's a painting on the wall in Korean in one of the episodes

That's such a cool detail.

Another commenter already said it was supposed to signify that Mark and Debbie are indeed Korean, like their VAs.

I was wondering wtf those were. They were focusing on them so much that I assumed Cecil had put a camera and/or a bomb in them or something.

I noticed that too! My parents have those! When she moved the ducks apart it was heartbreaking
