We see 2 covers and one had someone wearing viltrumite gear on it

one of his books was called "The Man with the Invincible Gun"

could be a foreshadowing of some viltrumite killing weapon perhaps? đŸ€” If they're going to take on a whole empire of viltrumites I just don't see how Nolan and Mark can do that alone, even with the help of earth, their allies need a weapon capable of even harming a single viltrumite.

the fact that the gun is described as invincible in a show called invincible about a guy name invincible means the gun is pretty important

I may be misremembering but doesn’t someone say that Nolan’s a travel writer? Maybe it’s tongue in cheek as in his “travel writing” is his adventures in space presented as sci-fi novels or is it retconned?

Yeah they totally said that in the first season, I was like what’s up with all this sci-fi? 🧐

Why would Nolan write a book about a weapon that can hurt him?

We will find out next episode i guess

Gotta write books for your cover persona and it's a trashy pulp sci-fi book so just throw in some of the universe's greatest secrets and the slightly drunk business men reading your books on flights will never realize that.

maybe he was writing them like action stories with himself/omni-man as the mc and anybody who threatens him in the books are real threats to viltrumites that mark could discover 😂 please let me cook

krptonians and viltrumites are similar so i bet theres something they are weak to like invincibles version of kryptonite, and that will be used in the weapon, cuz no way mark or anyone on earth can take on an army of viltrumites without it.

There's probably a story about how they had to kill an entire planet/civilisation because they learned about the weakness.

I see someone else has read the "Ancillary" series.

Nah, they mean "the invincible GUN", as in đŸ’Ș

Wasn’t there a scene where there was a high pitched noise that got mark to his knees to which Cecil had his team take note of?

u/HeyThereMrBrooks Dec 05 '23

There was. I wonder if they gun emits a similar noise that can incapacitate viltrumites

When we see the universe in which Mark sided with Nolan, Mark being imprisoned, doesn't he mention a gun people from earth used to kill Nolan?

Probably the same one

I likely wrote the books as Viltrumite propaganda, but because of that, he may be telling Mark to read then so that he can have info on then, to have a better fighting chance.
