That's my best guess as well- it might not be specifically on how to kill Viltrumites, but it very well probably has some clues on how to train and practice since Nolan can't actually train him right now. I wonder if there are any powers that we haven't seen yet that the books will reveal to Mark.

I also wonder if maybe it points him to Viltrum? Like a star designation that might actually be the equivalent of a beg red x to tell Mark that this is where you need to go afterwards? Feels like that would also be important info

could also be Nolan pointing to Mark how he trained. Nolan may have thought, "I am going to be executed now, but Mark still needs to train" and so his books might be a guide for Mark to self teach.

And probably some map to Viltrum, but I dont feel like Viltrum would be hard to locate if Mark wanted to find them. He would need to make contact with another life form and they could probably easily point out where the empire of their universe lives. So I'm guessing it'll talk more about some weakness Nolan identified in Viltrumite society that Mark will have to leverage. TBD!

Holy shit, this is a great guess!

I had no idea what message could possibly be in the books, but the name of a star or “made up” galactic coordinates that lead to Viltrum or some other sympathetic force makes a ton of sense. I’m coming back to this comment in a couple months lmao
