Hilarious that Eve's "place in the city" is the old Teen Team base. Reminds me of a panel from a (I think Hawkeye) comic where Clint says "Tony never checks the rent for any of our safe houses! Do you really think I can afford to vacation in Tokyo every year?!"

Yeah it’s something that is glossed over a lot in comics. They just left a perfectly usable base and it still functions.

Not really. Rudy built it so it makes sense he would maintain it.

Rudy is at heart a pragmatist.

Oh my God I never realised it was Teen Team. I thought it was Team Team. That makes so much sense.

Anyone else reminded of Darkwing Duck because of the bridge lair?

My first thought

Didn't she pride herself on making things out of nothing and being able to change the world? She can't take a fight off the bridge tho, she could have dunked that guy in and out of river for a long time.

Eve seems to be a pretty limited/bad fighter. I mean she's literally a reality warper and she just fights with pink shields and beams.

She was a lot better in the invincible eve thing. Feel like she's nerfed in the main show.

I think it’s so they can up her ante more gradually as the stakes increase

Yeah, that's exactly what went through my head. "Damn, the other Eve would have just deleted the water both surrounding the car and in their lungs!"

Just turn the guy’s gun arm into a hot dog.

Did you miss that she can't do anything to humans?

u/MeMeTiger_ Omni-Man Nov 27 '23

She can do things around them. She can defend herself better. She can do a billion things that aren't beams and shields.

Especially fight a guy who is more machine than man. Just turn all his metal bits to cotton.

Does Teen Team just not exist anymore? I assumed that Teen Team existed as an institution similar to the Guarians, in that, when members leave they would be replaced so that the team would continue to exist and function with new members/leaders

The hero teams seemed more like independent groups, at least is how i felt while watching, with the only actual official hero team being the Guardians.

I recently started the comics, and after the Guardians are killed we get an explanation from Cecil that the Guardiams were a private organization mostly funded by Darkwing. After they’re killed, Cecil/the government basically take control and give Robot the leadership role and lets him choose the new guardians. I think it seems like the Teen Team was just Robot’s creation

I see, so thats what happens. I wonder how Immortal feels about his team being now controled by the goverment
