So do we think that he spied on Mark for a couple days to find out he liked Seance Dog, or did Omni-Man just give him that info? I guess probably the former, as I have to imagine Nolan would agree with Mark that it’s a stupid idea to appear as Seance Dog.

At the same time, we know how much Mark cares about Seance dog. I can see Nolan thinking that it might work, especially with the “people are in danger you have to help” part, knowing his son is naive enough to potentially believe it and really wants to help people.

Eh, I doubt he spent a couple days spying. We already know that Thraxans age super rapidly. That Thraxan mentioned that he "spent half his life traveling to earth", only for us to later find out it's just a six day travel, lol. I imagine 2 days is a LONG time for Thraxans.

Mark had the big poster on the wall in the dorm room where they showed up, it was emphasized earlier in the episode by his roommate talking about it

It was three incredible lines in a row. The line right before it where he said something like, "...there are a myriad of worlds where dogs and magic are as real as the very air you breathe!" had me howling with laughter, and then the follow-up of "Then you're halfway to understanding" was the perfect cherry on top.

Sought out this subreddit just so I could bask in my enjoyment of the dialogue with other people who had watched the episode.
