For the majority of the run of the comic. Probably the most normal super-relationship in the series, really.

Yeah, aside from immortal being like a thousand years old and dupli-kate being like 18

Their relationship is stable and they are happy together and start a family. I do think they made a mistake not showing how The Immortal had become jaded and guarded from having so many people he loved die and Kate unexpectedly reignited the fire in his heart and gave him the courage to love again. It's important for understanding The Immortal's motivation for their relationship and they skipped over it in favor of a comedic surprise with Rex discovering them banging.

Even if you make the argument that there is no one age-appropriate for Immortal, kate is still an 18-year old in the body of an 18 year old and the Immortal looks like hes 40.
