It's been strange watching these after reading the comic unlike when I watched season 1. I'm mostly interested in what happens with Debbie. Ive always liked that she and Nolan get back together in the comic but I feel like they're not gonna do it in the show. I hope they end up doing it anyways though just with much more emphasis put on Debbie.

I feel like they will take things slow between Nolan and Debbie once they meet again. Like I'm really curious how Nolan truly feel towards Debbie considering that she was literally responsible for questioning his thousands years long loyalty towards Viltrum.

It won't be as instantaneous as the comics and Nolan has to find ways to rebuild his relationship with his ex. I'm also curious what will happen to Oliver once he appear. Would be interesting seeing how Debbie react to taking care a kid that can be a reminder that she was disposable to Nolan.

Getting back in Mark and Debbie's good graces, and getting back with Debbie were key parts of all of their character arcs in the comics. They will probably change how and when this happens, but I don't see them doing something as drastic as removing it entirely

Honestly them getting back together was not something I liked in the comics. Really I never bought Omni man’s redemption, especially in regards to the people of earth

i can definitely buy the latter with the explanation that forming social bonds based on love and not authority was a foreign concept to viltrumite culture, and that experiencing it is the key to viltrumites who have spent their whole lives conquering worlds developing a conscience and abandoning the empire. debbie forgiving this version of nolan will definitely be harder to swallow, if they go that route they’ll have to really work at it.
