"Marked as rough" is not a phrase. This is not a joke.
-5 u/THapps Mar 27 '20 edited Mar 27 '20 I used rough as a synonym for hard and then cut down extra wording for the joke, if written all the way it would go “they marked hulk movies down on a list as hard to make due to contracts, character rights, cgi, and box office risk. Sorry if it’s wrong, I’ll try to use better grammar next time I post here. Otherwise you're just forcing the punchline. Off the top of my head you could have rephrased it to something like "I named my dog after the hulk carl" "You named him Bruce Banner? Off the top of my head you could have rephrased it to something like
"I named my dog after the hulk carl"
"You named him Bruce Banner?
"No, I named him Bark Ruffalo"
"BARK carl"
