It was less than 24 hours between cancer diagnosis and appointment with my oncologist, and 5 days later I was in surgery.

And I only paid $3200 total OOP for $500k in treatment.

So I guess the answer is...it depends.

Which is the whole problem. Some coverages and clinics work, some don't. Since so many of us have insurance tied to jobs - it's literally up to corporations whether people live or die.
