So? Let's take the chance. We haven't tried it and this shit is abysmal. Can't be worse.

That is a terrible argument for a massive governmental policy and economy shift “Well we haven’t tried it fully…let’s see what happens”

So basically “I don’t like what’s currently going on…I fully trust you as one big federal entity to do it right, and better, and cheaper, and with less corruption and bureaucracy…here’s all the power to do that and more but I know you’ll totally do what’s right, and this would be easily reversible if this isn’t working”… That the gist of it? If so, has that been anyone’s experience with big govt?

Obligatory “Universal health care is such a complex beast that only 32 of the world's 33 developed nations have been able to make it work.” Lots of countries have tried it And succeeded.

Well we spend more than any other developed country on healthcare and we are the only ones that use the horrible system we have. I think it’s a fine argument here. To continue on with what we have is cruel and only benefits the obscenely wealthy.
