I have all issues and variant covers, of Fire Power, to date. Anyone else?

Title pretty much sums it up.

I’ve never been a completionist type but figured it was something fun I could do and support my LCS a bit more when the series started (and I really have been having fun with Fire Power).

It’s been a bit more of a challenge with the influx of variants this past volume. I’m hoping it doesn’t get too out of control.

That said, the most challenging issues were the two released by CVL. One of those I had to snag off eBay.

I’m hoping to eventually get a sketch card from Chris Samnee. That’d be the real icing on the cake for me.

So, anyone else? Just me?

Also, anyone know if the series is performing well?

I’m not hearing much hype for it like Kirkman’s other books these days but it’s been a blast to read.

I saw the series get a 4 star on Google Reviews a couple months ago.

So yes, the comic is doing well.

Almost two years ago, I asked “Invincible” fans how popular the series was before it became a TV show.

And a lot of them said that it had a strong fanbase but it wasn’t as popular as other mainstream comic books.

I left an Invincible Facebook fan page due to rampant gatekeeping and spoilers. I was half way through compendium 2 and assholes kept posting full page spreads with captions like “X’s death in issue X was sick!” despite a number of protests from people in the comments. The mods just replied “this issue is X years old, there are no spoilers” knowing full well that the fanbase was growing with the (pending at the time) release of the Amazon series. It was so off putting.

I shelved the read in hopes of forgetting the specifics so I could try to enjoy the surprise later.
