It was a static fire test, where all the engines are supposed to fire, but the rocket is held down by clamps. Likely the clamps failed somehow.

So I know it is a joke, don't woosh me.

But I strongly assume that clamps start out fastened, as part of the process of putting the rocket on the stand. So they would just always be fastened, and not something you could forget. Maybe they just broke off, somehow?

No idea but I'd imagine clamps failing all at once unlikely otherwise the rocket would veer off directly

Most likely the guy that does the rebar for their buildings and overpass also made those clamps.
