I’ve taken better footage of someone skiing while skiing myself. This person was standing still and had a single moving target to follow making rather predictable movements. 🤦‍♂️

Yes, the farther away something is the easier it is to keep it in frame

This guy made zero effort at the end. Just sat there unmoving for like 10 seconds

If you get the frame wide, yes, but he was most likely zoomed in at max and it can be difficult to stay on target.

It’s zoomed way in, like all the way digital zoom can go. They are likely filming this from a couple of miles away. Any movement of the camera will result in severe shaking when it’s zoomed in that far. Try it yourself with something fast moving like a bird flying that you’ve zoomed in to fill the screen.
