Jake Tapper is now trying to put as much distance between himself and that turd as he can after he spent so much time helping polish it. He's got shit all over him though, so it's undeniable.
"Mr. President, a bag of groceries that cost $100 at the start of your administration now costs $120..." Wax on, wax off.

More like $160 now but yes.

Quite certain there is a video of a guy who paid 120 for groceries two years ago and the same exact order costs 400+. So yes.

As soon as the DNC locks Biden in as their candidate, Trump needs to absolutely hammer him on having more debates.

If Trump would start making weekly announcements without caps lock on stating “I once again am willing to debate Joe Biden at the time and venue of his choice, with rules of his choosing, so that the American people may become better informed about their choices for the next president” it would be highly effective.
It would also further devastate the Biden campaign, either by his refusal to debate, or via his performance in the debate.

You're probably right. Although, it would be fun if he announced he'd only debate giggles now, since a vote for Joe is a vote for giggles as president.

Oh man, that would be brutal. And as much as I liked the lack of a live audience for the last debate, he needs to push for having one. That way there are eyes on Biden with zero intervention. If they stop the broadcast because he's having a Biden moment, there will still be witnesses. Word will get out.

CNN is punting Biden now. They want to appear as if they are "unbiased". Not to mention, if Trump wins their rating goes through the roof. Their best years were during Trump's presidency.

This is exactly what's happening.. their ratings/viewership have never been worse under Biden, and have never been better under Trump, so they are kicking him to the curb. People love to hate, and CNN loves to provide it. Kind of interesting imo

Proof that Tapper is still a DNC shill… he isn’t asking the real question which is not the obvious “should Biden be running” but rather “why isn’t the 25th amendment being implemented”

It actually would take awhile to actually pull off a 25th amendment move. He can challenge it and it would have to be approved by the house and senate. It would take at least 24 days for it to be completed. That's a lot of time this close to the election.

But this isn’t about the election. It’s a statement about whether or not he is capable of running the country until January 19th and we know (simple given the admission BY HIS STAFF that he is only capable from 10-4. This is the issue

Ah, I'm not disagreeing at all on that. He needed to go no later than last Thursday around 9:02, when he first opened his mouth. This is established in my mind. I'm just focusing on the election implications at this point and invoking the 25th doesn't solve the issue of removing Biden immediately which greatly impacts the race.

I agree with Tapper being middle of the road on this . Now that the Dems are attacking him I think he is getting the real education on how is party tries to crush any dissent .

A gaslighter’s pathetic attempt to salvage a shred of credibility.

I've said it before I'll say it again - a Trump presidency is great for ratings. CNN despises Trump on a personal level, but for business reasons they want him to win.

I think there is something to your theory.
I’ve been thinking awhile that Trump is great for the media when it comes to money and what’s better than Trump dominating headlines from 2016-2024, that would be him dominating the headlines from 2016-2028 and they all acted accordingly to make that happen.

Democrats know their best chance at winning is to have Biden replaced. CNN is trying to force this. They know if Biden stays in they lose.

Lose to the convicted fellow who when he last ran lost the Pres office and the Senate? Oh ya, I’m sure they’re shaking in their boots.

Is it just me or has Tapper been level-headed these last five days? Of course that probably means r/politics thinks he’s a Nazi now.
