I'm apologize, Brandon. I didn't know your game.

JJ at 9min - "Buy this guy's stock. Physically, he has it. Skill wise, he has it. You have two of the three boxes checked. If you got it up here, got it in the mindset, oh my gosh. This guy is going to be an All Star, All NBA type player for years."

That quote made me erect

Also, if Tim Legler can gush about your game for 5 straight minutes, that's always a great sign. One of the only dudes left that actually provides great analysis

I was edging to this but "detail-oriented" got me

That quote is from clifford 100%. He's said it before and Clifford was an assistant coach on the Magic when JJ was there.

You when they said detail oriented

Man, new ownership needs to hit this draft pick like as badly as I want to win the Mega Millions.

That would make it 3 building blocks to develop and surround with secondary roleplayers. The Hornets will be an up-and-coming squad.

Love how much attention he’s been getting lately I was already really high on Brandon and was one of the few who actually wanted him over scoot and he’s absolutely blown away my expectations and grown so quickly, just like how they said in the video it’s been insane how quick he adjusts, can’t wait to watch him grow for years to come

Interesting title choice, the phrase "we need to talk" fills me with Dread

Pretty good deep-dive into his play and how well he's been doing. Good video.

Higher ceiling than Tatum imho. Miller is a better finisher and ball handler than Tatum was, but what really stands out to me is his killer instinct.

Higher ceiling than a top 6-8 NBA player? Chilllll bro lol.

Go look at Duke/rookie year Tatum. Brandon is way more polished on O

Its a meme but Tatum was extremely young coming into the League

Yea I forgot about his age but it’s all the same to me. Brandon has the potential to surpass Tatum but we must also consider both of the franchises when it comes to developing talent.

One franchise has lived on success and winning culture while the other has not seen a drop of success.

There is a good chance that Brandon can be that player you build around but it really comes down to player development.

Actually wrote about this a few days after we drafted him but he is eerily similar to Tatum.

Tatum at Duke: 16.8/7.3/2.1 on 45/34/85 Miller at Bama: 18.8/8.2/2.1 on 43/38/86

Tatum at Duke: 6-8, 205 lbs, 6-11 WS Miller: 6-9, 200 lbs, 7-2 WS

Now of course Tatum was a bit younger but I don’t think it’s too out there to say 21 year old Miller isn’t too far off 20 year old Tatum

You’re saying he has a ceiling higher than Tatum who is currently a top 6-8 player in the NBA. Tatum could certainly ascend to being an MVP in the next few years. I’m saying chill, Miller is a great prospect, we’d be thrilled if becomes a top 10 guy in this league. His ceiling isn’t higher than Tatum, sorry.

You can always argue about ceilings since nothing is out of the question this early in a career, but it's still highly unlikely that Miller ever becomes this good. It's really really hard to be a top 10 borderline top 5 player in this league. If he becomes a multiple all-star or even better all nba player that's already extremely good, you're setting yourself up for disappntment if Tatum is the standard you're holding him up to.

Hey I hope you end up being right man, I'll be more than happy to eat my words!

Man Legs really had to hammer home that there's no reason to watch us huh 🤣

As much as it hurt, he's right for sure, we're absolute dog water right now, but Miller's exceptional play, the recent trades, and the FO moves have me very excited! I never thought I'd say it, but Melo just doesn't seem like he's that guy.

Miller 📈 Melo 📉

I would have agreed last week that we're not worth watching. But now I'm definitely tuning in for this new roster + Miller.

Tbf it seems like this clip was before the trade deadline guys played so I'd honestly agree with him

I still can't believe there are no fans other than me that are not ok w JJ saying we stink! Even tho we have and our record suggest we still do! It doesn't sit well w me that he said that, and then Tim backing it.

F* that stand for sum em, don't let mfer talk about our team.

You get on to talk about our boy Brandon, but you had to throw that slight in there!

It's like when someone gives says thanks and then follows up w you, but it's not like it was before or sum slight. What was the point of giving appreciation. Just be real about ya stuff. Your headline says we need to talk about brandon Miller, but you slight the hornets immediately 5 seconds into the segment that seemed like his full intent to slide that in there.

All good ain't nobody else gotta feel it, but until we stand up to that mess, they gonna keep treating us like that bc most of us allow it! I aint saying punch no one in the face, but man, get tired of being the butt of the jokes!

Envision the change, manifest us as a winning org. It's a mentality, and the fans should lead it!
